Introduction
DODA, an acronym for Dr Olusesi
Digital Audiogrammer, is a simple-to-use computer program written to enable
clinicians and paramedics carry out hearing assessment using the personal
computer. The current version
(V.2.1.08) has improved GUI over the
previous versions for ease of use.

USING
DODA Pure Tone
-
Click File, Pure Tone Audiogrammer
-
Select the green oval button and click
-
Adjust the sound volume up and down
till it is just heard by the person being tested
-
Enter the volume heard for that
frequency into the yellow textbox
-
Click the OK button
-
Repeat same procedures 2 to 5 for the
red, orange, yellow and blue buttons respectively
-
Then click the Plot button
-
Select any of the arrows pointing in
the direction of the ear you have just measured
-
click Save button to save the Chart
fro that ear
-
Click Reset button
-
Repeat the procedures 2 to 9 for the
other ear
-
Click Report to report on the
audiogrammer results after testing each ear
Doing DODA Speech
-
Click File, Speech Audiogrammer.
Alternatively Click the button labeled Speech
-
Select the Sound tab labeled Sounds
1-5
-
Click on Button 1
-
Adjust the sound volume up and down
till it is just heard by the person being tested
-
Enter the volume at which word was
just heard in the yellow textbox, and the word heard in the white textbox
-
Click OK button
-
Repeat steps 2 to 6 for buttons 2 to
20
-
click Plot and Select the arrow
pointing to the ear just tested
-
Click the Score button on the lower
right corner of the screen to score the speech test
-
Click report to obtain a report of the
test just carried out
-
Click Reset button
-
repeat steps 2 to 10 for the other ear
