Radiograph of The Week |
A 54-year old male presented with recurrent epistaxis,
nasal obstruction and diffuse neck swellings of 6 months duration. The
only other significant history was that the wife died recently after a
prolonged febrile illness. Examination revealed the features shown on
this film as well as +4 tonsils, and post-nasal mass depressing the soft
palate, as well as enlarged levels II - V nodes bilaterally. RVD
Screening was positive and scrapping biopsy of the post-nasal space mass
was reported well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma
